Background: Right on the border intersecting Maer Braech, Coftyr and Western Anyara lies the sleepy town of Gufton. You could say it has a certain Je nais se quar. Unfortunately Gufton has been shaken violently awake by Crusader forces directing raids into Coftyr. Similar such raids have been reported all along the border. We fear this may be the beginning of something much, much bigger… The previously untouched town may have just become the focus of a new invasion. The King expects all gentle-quar to work the defences and repel the invaders, while the Crusaders hope to start the final push that will finally bring about Alykinder’s dream of an united Alwyd! By the end of this event we will know if Gufton stays in the hands of the royalists or falls to the Crusaders! Description: The purpose of this event is to have some fun with our little Quar soldiers. The aim of the day is to tell the story of the assault on Gufton. We hope to have enough Royalists and Crusaders so that there are two equal teams. We will count the result of each skirmish towards what faction retains control of the town of Gufton. In the event that the same faction has to face off against each other, we will not count the result towards the narrative. This result will not have an impact on the prizes for individual players on the day. But it will have an impact on the self esteem of the losing faction!
